Club Sadowsky!!!

I can go between my 72P and a sadowsky without adjusting settings.

I have the same experience; but that robust output is part of the Sadowsky sound.

Only solution I have found if you are going back and forth is to get a Sadowsky Outboard preamp. Kick it off for the Sadowsky bass and kick it in with levels adjusted for the passive bass.

I got myself Ash/Maple/ HC and Ash/ rosewood/ SC combo already, while I want one with soapbars but I never happy with the modern position since it placed more towards to the bridge side and hence the Slapping/Popping sounding tends to sound like a Ken Smith to me... While I really dig the soapbars character on some songs.. so I thought placing them at 60's would be a good way to go :)

As a bass player with a day job, like probably most of us on here, I have recently been short of gigs and that always ends up with me spending far too much time looking at talkbass and basschat and the like. It also tends to lead to thoughts of potential new basses. The problem with this is that absolutely nothing is tempting me into a purchase as my olympic white MV4 Sadowsky is such a great bass that I know that anything I might pick up at the moment won't be able to measure up to a Sadowsky. I spent a few hours today playing along to some new music and my Sadowsky was capable of any style and sounded great whatever I tried to play. Two and a half years with this bass now and it just seems to get better and better. Love it!:bassist:

He's a great singer and we've probably heard his voice on many jingles without knowing. I remember him rambling off a list of jingles that he had sang on in an interview quite a while back... Folgers, Cheerios, etc...
On another note, I didn't think Roger did matching head stocks with maple finger boards... I'm a little jealous!

The first time I knowingly heard Uncle Will sing was on the first track of Victor Wooten's first solo disc ("U Can't Hold No Groove" - A Show of Hands). I thought that was so cool - having Will Lee guest on your bass record, as a vocalist.
