Club Sadowsky!!!

The depth is very important but just as, maybe more, is the carve on the shoulder of the neck. The shoulder carve can make a narrow neck feel wide and a wide neck feel narrow. I think the NYC's have a nicer shoulder than the Metro's which give them a chunkier feel.

Thats an issue of preference not quality. Some people think a chunkier neck gives better tone. With an NYC you can get it made however you want. With a metro you get the production standard designed to please the largest possible number of people.

my one metro,, black hardware . 8.00 lbs on the nose , love the neck, most comfortable ever , i have tried many usa sadowsky
and i find their neck are more chunkier than on my metro,

Hey: happy new year!

I still have my trsuty MV5 and it still kicks it. But the new forum software means threads "drift off my feed" if I don't keep on top of them.
I searched this one back up, and it was on page three of the search results?
weird.

This looks just like my 93 NYC. You have great taste sir! When did black hardware become available on Metros? I must have been living under a rock.

as far as i know black hardware is not available on metros,, i bought it from someone who had black hardware on his usa sadowsky and wanted gold hardware,, so this bass came to me like this and after i bought it and played it i sold all my heavy musicman and my 10 lbs 77 jazz and never looked back
