That redwood bass is ENTIRELY too fancy for my blue-collar chops and sensibilities, but I sure do appreciate its beauty. Especially the roasted maple neck. drool
I was also happy to see that the orange Satin J5 bass has (apparently) been sold. I was GASsing hard for that one.
I think I can count the world-class musicians, or even local jazzers, I've seen with figured tops on one... finger. There's something to that.
It's okay, I think the worst dressed musicians I've seen have been "world-class" players - especially "jazzers".OUCH!
