Club Sadowsky!!!

We got some photos back from an excellent local photographer who was at a recent show, so I thought I'd share a couple.

I have had my Trans Blue MetroLine MV4 for three months now. I've played 20 shows with it so far. I have to say that it is just the best bass ever. Best sounding, best playing, best looking, everything. I can't even fathom another bass beating it, I don't think it's possible. Lifetime keeper, I guess!

p.s. - I am still using the passive setting, a little bit blended toward the neck pickup, VTC rolled off just a smidge - pure heaven, perfect tone for me.

After a four month wait, I just got my candy apple red satin series last week. The color was a crapshoot, as they hadn't made any CAR satins when I ordered mine. Mine is the first, so it's kind of cool to have a bass that is literally one of a kind (until other people realize how cool the color is), and it's even better than I had imagined. Really gorgeous. The bass itself is fantastic. The action was set a bit low for my taste, but that was an easy adjustment, and now it plays great. I own some nice Fenders, but this is the nicest bass I own by far. The low B is very well defined and every note is even across the fretboard. Two thumbs up!!!

That bass turned out very nice. It's even a poster child now!

Sadowsky Les Paul; for real? Appearantly out of the Tokyo shop. Seller has lots of stuff, including NYC guitars.
NEW Sadowsky Guitars Chamberd Vintage S-Style w/ Gig Bag
Those tuners; has Sadowsky ever used vintage style tuners like that? I don't know; I've never seen any Sadowsky guitar up close, I know the basses OK, not so much the guitars. Seller has done a lot of business and has a perfect score from customers. Anyone here that knows? Should we be worried and notify Roger about this? I know that before stuff has gone out of that shop that has not been available anywhere else; like the 6 string basses....Hmmm

Ha. We all have our idiosyncrasies. My Sadowsky fivers have narrow tuning pegs. This bugs me... I'd much prefer wider Fender-style pegs (which are now standard on most Sadowsky fivers I believe). As you said, a small detail -- not annoying enough to make me want to replace the tuners, though someone else here recently had that done (JonKim maybe?)

This was a limited run out of the Japan shop. Solid bodied.

Hi: Big singles much more aggressive.

The regular singles a bit less scooped as stock hum cancelling which I like alot, and tons of lows while
having a nice top end. The Big singles just take it one more notch along the Berry Oakley/Jack Casady vein if you bear down
on your right hand technique
