I forgot to post my new one. Single coils and VTC. I took the pg off and it has the nicest grain of any bass that I have owned. pics of that soon. And now sportin Sadowsky Blue Label Nickels (Great Strings).

60's spacing. I have to admit about 4 yrs ago I sold my USA Lakland (natural/maple) -Rob you remember that one_ and it was the worst mistake I ever made. Well this bass is that bass and more. The weight, the feel, the tone and the look. Oh and did I mention the tone. I actually have a small gig in NJ with an acoustic guitarist and know that this bass will deliver the goods. Live their is no comparison. I am happy to be on board again

Thanks! It has the fattest G (and D) string of any bass I've ever played; you can play a groove on that string and it fills the track in a very beautiful way...the only problem is that now I'm jonesing for a sibling with a rosewood board.
