Roger, I just received my new MV4 from Midwood Guitar Studio, in N.C. My contact, Dan Hood, helped with all my questions, exhibiting a level of patience (dealing with me) that is largely nonexistent in customer service, these days. Well, my first ever Sadowsky arrived...about an hour before practice tonight. Of course, I took it with me, and oh my...I get it now! Plays extremely easy, and the tone is incredible (Black Flats-Light)...

I'll spend more time experimenting with the preamp tomorrow. Any settings to try?

Also, the neck flames are insane...really 3D-like in person!!! The NYC build time "wait" was definitely worth it...

I ordered a new Sadowsky Hardshell Case for my bass. My bass is a MetroLine MV4, a 2016, and it came with a semi-rigid case that is very cool but was taking some wear from all the shows I play and all the load in's and load out's.

So I decided to get a hardshell case. Sam helped over the phone with my order. I received the case today, and I have to say it is perfect, just what I was hoping for. The fit for my MV4 is perfect, it's as snug as any case I've ever had. The leather strap is a nice touch, and the whole thing is just really solid and high quality. The alligator scale finish is kinda cool. The interior space is good for items. Most of all, I like that it is a slimmer overall profile and smaller size than my other hardshell cases, it will squeeze into the hatchback car better than any of them. Just a great case.

Just wanted to share that positive experience in case anyone else is considering a hardshell case for their Metro. Just give them your model number (ie. MV4) either on the phone or in the comments section of the online order form. Good stuff!

Thank you for the great review of our hard case. This was several years in development. The body inserts are removable, so we are able to make custom inserts to fit all of our body shapes, as well as standard Fender J, P, Strat and Tele. Glad you are as pleased as we are with the new hard case! Roger.

It's hard with pricing mate. There is only 1 dealer that carry Sadowsky in the UK I think (there is/was another that could order) and their orders are as and when, I believe. Apparently, it would be cheaper for me to buy direct. But US postage is expensive, then there's tax etc. Oh well, a trip to Nashville might be in the cards anyway...
