Club Sadowsky!!!

My current two. The white metro has the old duncan singles, a deepened and angled neck pocket, an aftermarket string retainer, and is the best overall bass I've ever had. The NYC is amazing too, but for me ash/maple is more of a niche vibe, most of my gigs are alder body all the way. I bought that bass for a specific gig with a ton of funk and pop (it killed), and kept it post gig because its just a great bass.

Love the Metro!

Well, it's official... I removed the plastic protection off the pickguard... after 5 months, it's mine!

LOL, I can relate, brothah from a diff'rent muthah!

I have an NYC WL5, bought new from their inventory a couple years ago, that I've never taken out of the house. My Metro goes to every gig, but that NYC was a special treat for myself. I woodshed on the NYC, but don't take it out. This is not a logical thing; it's purely emotional, and makes no logical sense.

OTOH...the build that's underway for me right now is going out into the wild. Not looking forward to the first ding, but Ima gig the snot out of that one when it's in my greasy little hands.

I have extensive hail damage on my backside, and sometimes I just want to show the world how much character I have... nice hearing from you, Steve! Can't wait to see the pics when you get it...
