Forte does what it should do. Actually for that lineup the Mesa probably would have been a good choice as well, as it is more towards the thicker "rock/r&b" vibe, Forte is more towards neutral. I added in a bit of upper mid to help cut.

Hey gang! My band just put out a promo video and wanted to see if my Sadowsky family can point out which songs were recorded with my WL. The other songs I used a Spector.
Two very distinct (IMO) sounds and equally as good.

having played both extensively, I think I can tell the difference, but you are playing (synching) one bass thru all the video, correct?

Correct. In the video I just played the Sadowsky. The video isn't live, we recorded it in the studio and played to the recording for the promo video.

My Fav bass of all time, is a Sadowsky PJ with a rosewood fretboard. Man, those basses can get any tone on the planet out of them, for any application. I'm (very) old, I've played every brand of bass ever made, and someone will have to pry my Sads out of my cold dead hands before I let them go. Seriously. The quality and consistency is beyond reproach. But, I guess if you are looking at this forum, you already know that. :>)

Your in Tucson???? I lived there for about 7 or 8 years - played with a band East to West....
Do you know of them, I don't even know if they are still gigging.... that was 10 years ago.
They will sleep through anything... especially, if you introduce the Sadowsky awesomeness to them, at ever increasing volumes, over time...

We did a lot of corporate gigs, like Banks, Defense Companies, Bakeries, and Weddings.... I (and the rest of the band did not care about the $$$), we just wanted quality places to play at, which we did... So, probably a bit different than some of the local bands....
They all work. I’ve been gigging the 5 lately, because we are doing Can’t Hurry Love in Ab; and I can’t do the Jameson toggle on the detuned 4
