Club Sadowsky!!!

I am basically just using my Candy Apple Orange 4 banger, so I will be putting several basses up for grabs. I thought I needed to let my friends at the club know first, this one is in the classifieds now here at TB:

I took my Sadowsky with SC pickups and now the rotosound 66 (40-100), my LMII marco edition and my Berg AE210.

I kept asking the other guys all the time: Am I too loud? They kept saying NO!
Seriously, I never sounded so good and so clear. I thought I was very loud, just because I could hear everything so clearly! Nobody complained about my volume (what they usually do with the rehearsal space supplied amp, and that I keep fighting with because I can never hear me, despite it being a famous brand and having a 410+115 cab setup of the same famous brand).

So, long story short, my sound was awesome today. I think the main ingredient today was the Berg AE210. WOW, this cab is really awesome.

Very cool. The LMII/AE/MV combination is one of my favorites, especially if you like the grind and VERY quick attack, etc. I use an F1/AE410/MV with singles and Blue Label Steels, and it will shear the hair off the back of your neck... just SO quick, aggressive, tight, accurate... it's a bit intimidating. It's the 'no slop zone':D

If you dig those Rotosounds (I always liked them, but they always went dead after a gig or two for me), you might try a set of DR Lo Rider stainless steels. They have a more aggressive upper mids than the Hi Beams, and tighter tension. They kind of sit right in between the Sadowsky Blues (which REALLY have a lot of upper mid grind and tight tension IMO and IME) and the Hi Beams, which are smooth and a bit more hi fi.
