NYCs come with chromed knobs unless you order otherwise. Metros come with the standard black knobs.

Yes! This model is Ultra Vintage so it has the traditional knobs. Like Fran said, that's just the NYCs from what I've seen. There is a UV jazz that also has traditional jazz knobs, I believe.

Here is a killer MV5 at s great price. I seriously started to drive up to Chicago to buy it, but I knew I would have to use my Pedulla as part of a trade to get it, so I backed out. This will be a great bass for someone!

Except it’s actually a RV5. “M” denotes maple fretboard (which clearly isn’t the case with that bass), and “R” is for rosewood.

Do any of you have a vintage pearl pickguard on your bass? I'm between the white pearl and vintage pearl for my next Sadowsky.

I'll probably make the final choice when the body comes out of paint, and I can compare the 2 with the finish.

I have vintage pearl on a candy apple red metro. Crappy phone pic but here it is.

I was on the fence for awhile with my NYC 5-21...ended up having two guards made, but had the bass shipped with the Vintage Pearl installed. Glad I did!

I’ve yet to take or see a pic, that really reflects how amazing the VP guard looks in person...sorta 3D! Here’s the best pic I’ve got...
