Well I have a sun burst body and maple neck. I’ve seen a few pics of other Sadowsky basses and they have the black hardware and it looks cool AF. Never would have thought to put that on a Sunburst.
I'm not sure if Sadowsky sell their bridges as aftermarket parts, but thats not relevant in your case. Since you have a BadAss bridge on your bass it would be very easy to get all of the necessary hardware to black out your bass. bestbassgear.com should be a one stop shop.
Yeah I’ve seen the bridges in black, my issue would be the tuning machines. I’d like to keep it from Sadowsky.
They use Hipshots, which you can get a ton of places- best bass gear, musician’s friend sells ‘em in sets of 4 (and usually qualify for the coupon codes), bass strings online (although sadly he is closing
), ebay and reverb...

I got real lucky more than five years ago and found this beauty with black hardware hanging on the Sadowsky for sale rack. No build wait time. Overnight shipping. Didn't take long to make the purchase decision

Yes, we've done a similar silverburst finish... unfortunately, our sold gallery is down right now, but when it's back up, there should be an example.
And if you give us a sample photo, we can always match it.
AFIK, Ikebe-Gakki is a major retailer in Japan and an authorized Sadowsky dealer. The issue I have with their website is that they don’t distinguish between the few basses that are in stock, versus the many that have to be pre-ordered.
With, J's without the pickguard but still having the chrome plate look weird to me, specially if sunburst, they never look quite right, with the drill holes and the lower horn way to dark.
Yours looks great with the mint? pickguard, it would also look cool with a tort
I have one of each. I have a black with white PG and maple...tuxedo look. And I have a standard metro sunburst/Maple with no pickguard or chrome plate...reminds me of Jaco's bass.
