What should I use to wipe down some shiny spots on the fretboard of a satin bass? Is the everyday polish safe to use on the fretboard or would that be a no no?

I use Music Nomad F1 on my Morado and Indian Rosewood boards. Works great for me.

No maple in my stable, can't help ya there.

If it’s maple then it’s going to have the same nitro on the board as it does on the back of the neck. Clean them the same when you change strings

The everyday polish is fine to use on your fretboard.

Just chiming in with an extra like for tag line regarding the Ontario licence plate issue.

After my son was stopped by the police due to the fading plates I was lucky enough to get them exchanged for free.

The preamp is set flat, the vintage tone control is most of the way off.
