I recently bought a pre owned one and frankly it’s amazing at any price so I’m going to stop thinking about this kind of thing and possibly get rid of everything else I have ...(almost)
This isn't news to you of course, but IMO Roger's take on the fretless ... the modern pickup placement, and his impeccable building standards that you feel in every note ... is as iconic as a defretted Jazz Bass/Pedulla Pentabuzz/insert popular fretless here.
Just wish I had more gigs that called for it. Gotta shoe-horn it in there somehow.

The NYC pricing is accurate on our website. I updated that myself recently with Roger and Ellis. I can’t speak to the Warwick pricing, though.

I use mine religiously every Sunday at Church...
. It hasn’t seen any classic rock gigs, although I’m considering giving it a go! Probably nobody would even know the difference...the local bar crowd is not very discriminating in these parts.
I though this press release on prices was as straightforward as it gets outside of how much any custom changes would be to any of the lines.
We will continue to use the Dunlop Dual Strap buttons and attachments on our NYC basses.

I see a lot of confusion and speculation about the pricing on the new Sadowsky lines. Give me a little time to dig deeper and I will report asap.

Sadowsky is the best in the business as far as I'm concerned. Their quality and customer support is what every other company strives for.
Virtues of the PJ5 setup (with D'Addario Chromes) on a blues gig last night:
P Pickup: 90% of the night. Ginormous, pillowy and yet pitch-focused notes that just sat perfectly in the mix.
Blended tone: guys pulled out a Quincy Jones version of 'Killer Joe'. Hip 6-over-4 12/8 feel. I goosed that VTC and slapped the pajeezus out of it like Johnny Two-Tone on collection day.
Bridge pickup tone: guitar player asks me ... 'Do you know the version of 'The Chicken' from Jaco's birthday concert album?'. Next thing you know I'm wearing white pants up to my waist and this burpy, cutting tone is making everyone's face muscles stretch from grinning.
Also ... always bring more rig than you think you need. Big Daddy P was making my AG700-SL112 have the vapors. VERY loud guitar player, real-deal Hammond B-3, and a drummer with sledgehammers attached to his hands and feet. Sent my signal to the house through a Khan Audio Tube DI. Swapped out my Mazda Hatchback for a big ol' oil patch duelly.
Got some compliments on my sound and ... full confession time ... I pretended like I had something to do with it.
