I talked with him last week. He is doing good. No gigs like the rest of us. His band is “Motion Blur” is awesome.

Seems like Bikeplate had a sweet white one with Nordstrand Big Singles circa 2006 or so. That's some hard-hitting, squint-my-eyes as I type to remember research.

I bought that bass from him in 2008, still have it, still sounds fantastic.
It was my first sadowsky... as you can tell, I ended up liking the "big singles in J position" a bit

The 4 was a prototype - sounded great but ultimately I didn't bond with it and moved it on.

No, but it WAS his at one point.
Same was probably true for most of the used Sadowskys in circulation circa 2008, lol!

Just had the opportunity to buy back my custom ordered 2013 Sadowsky vintage jazz. I always regretted selling it. A dealer in St. Louis was selling it and he reached out to me because he saw my post in an old TB thread. I'll have it back tomorrow! So STOKED!

Wow that's a great looking bass. If dealers knew what I posted on here I'd be in big trouble.

Wowzers. So those Nord Big Singles worth checking out?

Kind of figured:

• Big Singles coil position kind of makes it ‘Single Coil J Pup with more wood hogged out than normal’
• Double coil pickups of some sort (Aguilar ones I mentioned) would be something more unique.

GAS!! The only thing stopping me from firing a PM right this second is the 1.75” nut width. Super spoiled by the 1.5” on my HPJs and Verdine 4. GLWTS! That is a rare beauty.

Another great job there. Love the doubling of the guitar player (visually) for his Tele and Gibson moments. You guys look like great fun!

The Sadowsky Metro Express and I are easing back out ! 6 feet apart in the garage with the doors open , yea were making some booboo's , we have not been able to get together for a long time but o man it feels good to play with my bandmate again, hopefully we can all get out and play again soon ! Hope you are all well !

Very cool! That pedalboard... umm wow! I just had a jam a few days ago with one of my bands as well. IT FELT GREAT - kept the 6 foot thing of course. We shot a video too but, well.. this one I can blame on the drummer.

We did get some audio from the blank phone however - Verdine 5 with Blue Label flats through Mesa D800+ and one Subway 115. Not terrible for cell phone audio..
