I put some Dunlop flats on my Verdine and they really are fantastic. I just wonder if flats are the best option for this bass. I may just keep the Dunlops in the bass case as an option.
It’s a tough call there on this one. I have a shorty coming that has flats and my Pbass has flats as well. So I feel like it may make sense to go with rounds on this Sadowksy P. Anyway, I got some DR LoRiders for my L2500 and they are so darn nice, that its tempting to try them on the Sadowsky.

Why not try the Sadowsky Blue Label Stainless Steels? They have great tone and feel. Very consistent and long lasting. Check them out!
Anyone got a German Sadowsky out there? I've just ordered a Metroline PJ hybrid.
I ordered same Metroline in black. Will arrive end of juli. i don't think there are already German Sadowskys. First batch of MetroExpress is sceduled for 3rd week of june. Picture is of MetroExpress, looks already great. MetroLine will look even better.

Except the prototypes they made for NAMM, new German made Metro schdueled shipping around July-June at the moment.
Mine is DarkLake Placid Blue/Morado, 5 string Pbass body. Interesting and a bit worrying is that the Xpress hybrids seem to have Jazz bodies, but the Metroline specifically says "This 5-string bass in classic P-style shaped red alder body comes in Solid Dark Lake Placid Blue Metallic High Polish finish".

I already own three Sadowsky P-style basses, but GAS doesn't care.
I also expect a p-bass body, but I wouldn't mind the slim j-body.
That's a relief, unless we've both bought a different bass from what we thought!. I think Warwick need to get pics on their site of each bass, so you really know what is being purchased. Look forward to seeing your bass when it arrives!
It seems that the Vintage pj has the undersized j-body. I think the others will have the p-body.
Is there a place to see the new Warwick made Sadowsky's and the colors they will offer. I'm going to order one as soon as they are available hopefully.
I was a black label nickle player for years but man, after I tried the blue label steels I was hooked. The best sounding and very easy on your fingers steels!
