I understand that German Sadowskys will have same decals as Japanese ones. Chinese Sadowskys will look like these

I believe the MetroLine P/J 4/5 will come in P-bodies; at least the written info says that for now...

AFAIK and what I can tell, for German Metro, there are limited color options at the moment, you can get about total 8 color options like Black Satin, Olympic white and Sunburst, etc.
While for Master Built / Custom Shop series orders, you can basically opt for most of the NYC offerings, from different kind of Satin, gloss, transparent, metallic and burst color.
Quick question, what is exactly is the difference between the German Masterbuilt Verdine White Signature and the German MetroLine Verdine White Signature, the only reason I'm asking is I was looking at the spec's on Warwick's site and aside from the huge price difference they have the same exact spec's so what is the difference?

Main difference regard this case.
Metro - limited color options, solid body, fixed body/ fingerboard wood combo.
Metro MB - various color/finish options, chambered body, various top / body / neck / fingerboard wood options.
I understand the goal and price points of the new Metro and Metro Express basses, but the line seems a little more blurred between the German Masterbuilt and the NYC Custom Shop. I’m sure the German Masterbuilt will be among the best basses in the world, just as the NYC Customs have always been, but how do they differ? Do they have two different groups of target buyers in mind, or are they essentially the same bass built in two different locations? Regardless, there will be great Sadowsky’s available to consumers at all price points, which is awesome!
Yes. If I recall right, Roger stated that there was a legal issue with the logo in China that they were working on correcting. Apparently someone in China stole the logo and copyrighted it. And that until it gets corrected, they are not allowed to use the original Sadowsky logo on the Metro Express basses.

That would be up to the state but I bet New York will be one of the last places to reopen
Keep in mind that the NYC shop only makes so many guitars/basses a year. The shop is also moving to what I believe is a little smaller location too.
Masterbuilt will also help distribute more instruments to the European market making it easier to own a top end Sadowsky around the world. Plus the build time will probably be a little shorter than for an NYC.
