Club Sadowsky!!!

MetroExpress is from China. MetroLine is made in Germany. As far as I know no "modern" basses are build. Only jb and pj models, including Will Lee and Verdine White.
I was wrong. They do have the MetroLine modern basses made in Germany, but not the MetroExpress.

Well consider me converted.

tried it with my kemper tried it with my other rigs and it shines.

I had some reservations as I have not been able to try before I buy but with everything I’ve read I was confident.

when it arrived i now understand when people say it has its own sound. It truly has its own signature. Muscular I guess. Fit and finish were superb. Everything was well done and I could tell they put a lot of time into the neck. Excellent feel. The neck is what hits it home for me. Perfect chunkiness combined with a strong spacing that’s not too cramped.

I have not been able to put it down.

Don't know if this has been posted but it's a German Metroline and sounds pretty good.

Those Music Force demos have some of the most consistent high quality mixes on the internet. Excellent players, technique, and choice of music. Sadowsky, MTD, every brand I’ve heard them demo is studio quality - no hacks.

A fretless Sadowsky in the $900 price range? I’m in. I hope it has a Tort guard though.

AFAIK and regards the info I received, there are PJ4,5 and JJ4,5 fretless in Solid Black High Polish (only) available, so they will come with Tort guard.

And this is exactly the reason I never feel worry a Sadowsky on a recording situation, they just sound right and sit well in the mix, I feel anticipated to my shop orders and some of my personal basses. :)

I'd owned Gibsons, Taylors, Smiths (Japanese) and American Made Fenders, so when a used Sadowsky NYC was consigned to my local store I felt the need to demonstrate to myself that the higher cost of boutique instruments was just a vanity thing. The Sadowsky for sale was spalted maple with a curly maple neck/finger board and black hardware - stunning looking, but I've never liked maple finger boards (other than a Telecaster), so I planned on a quick audition. Most times I audition instruments I don't bother to plug in, but when offered an amp and cord, I went ahead. It's now my favorite bass. I even want another with a Rosewood fingerboard.

The best bass I've ever played. The closest was an used Alembic I let get away, but it was heavier.

The reason for my recent interest in the Tokyo shop arrived today. I didn’t take the picture, but I won’t do better.
Oh, my...and I haven’t even plugged her in yet, she’s acclimating to her new climate first.
A mint condition 2015 MetroLine RV4 in Dark Lake Placid Blue. Stunning. The workmanship, flawless.
I’m not much about the club number thing, but I’d be proud to have one from this group.
Thx.
