Club Sadowsky!!!

Are Satin basses shielded the same as NYC customs? I’m assuming the electronics cavity and pickup cavities are all shielded.
Shielded paint in my Satin

I picked up "the last satin" from Roger about a month ago but after careful back and forth, my black satin VW PJ5 works better for me. My aging ears need the P pickup. Fitted with the NYC HC J pickups, Roger had the shop install the single coil switch which allows the bass to operate as SC or HC. I'm planning to list this one in the next week or so, but if interested please get in touch. Still has plastic on pickgurd, as-new. I'll discount it 10%.

Super-cool. So this is accessible via the "search" window? I assume this is a work in progress? How many years back are you going with the examples?

Thanks for all you folks are doing. Man, the site was already great before! :D

Just an update on an earlier discussion from Club Sadowsky that started after we put the new order form up on the site. While we don't currently have a visual builder on the site, I have been working through all of our sold listings to add tags for better sorting so that it's easier to find examples of the kind of instrument you are thinking of building. That way, if you think you might want a matching headstock, just click the link and see all of the past examples on the site with a matching headstock to get references.

Here are some examples of how you'll be able to sort:

Such a great color... goes great with maple and rosewood boards.

This NYC P-bass 4-20 managed to follow me home this week. I've always wanted to try a Sadowsky P bass. You don't see many of these in the wild. I already have two excellent P basses so I hope the bonding goes well. Oh yeah, there seems to be a J pickup installed, as well. Maybe I'll blend that in from time to time.

Hi! Did anyone noted that some new master wood tops in the sadowsky gallery are extremely beautiful? At the maple burl section, never seen like these before! Last two of them is my favourite!

If someone made an order with it, please share with us!!
#39 and 40 both have a cool coyote face in the middle however 36 has a zombie beaver that’s a little eerie

So a buddy of mine was fortunate enough to snag a MetroExpress right after they came out. I guess since Sadowsky is no longer doing strings he switched to a different brand and asked me to set it up for him. I grabbed the bass a few days ago and went to work. A little tweak of the truss rod, a slight bridge height and intonation adjustment and it was playing amazing! I figured before I get it back to him tomorrow I’d make one of my low budget YouTube vids playing it. I found an online jam, listened to it a few times and then hit record. I had full volume, pickups 50/50, tone slightly rolled back and bass at about 3 (out of 10) and treble at about 2. I know the Warwick made basses are a little different but I could easily rock one of these ME’s and not look back. Anyhow, here was my 1am project last night (or this morning :D).......
