Club Sadowsky!!!

This NYC P-bass 4-20 managed to follow me home this week. I've always wanted to try a Sadowsky P bass. You don't see many of these in the wild. I already have two excellent P basses so I hope the bonding goes well. Oh yeah, there seems to be a J pickup installed, as well. Maybe I'll blend that in from time to time.

Yeah, pretty sure that was Endea Owens, sporting and NYC 5-string. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] She's great, beyond what TV allows.

She has a Verdine 5 and a fretless. Wonderful player and person. We're working on getting a photo of her playing one of her Sadowskys for our website.

If anyone tries out our new custom order form (it let's you make a custom order and prices it out for you) and wants to give me feedback to make it better... feel free to pm me.

Just an update on an earlier discussion from Club Sadowsky that started after we put the new order form up on the site. While we don't currently have a visual builder on the site, I have been working through all of our sold listings to add tags for better sorting so that it's easier to find examples of the kind of instrument you are thinking of building. That way, if you think you might want a matching headstock, just click the link and see all of the past examples on the site with a matching headstock to get references.

Here are some examples of how you'll be able to sort:
by color: ex: inca silver: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
by color: ex: 59 Burst: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
by top: ex: quilt maple: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
by feature: ex: matching headstock: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
by feature: ex, black hardware: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Brilliant! You must have been reading my mind after fumbling around the other night.

Is t

Is there a way to visually determine the difference of a hum cancelling J and a soapbar? Like which is this on this bass?
I was trying to find examples of a J with soaps in 60’s position and a PJ with a soap the other night as I’m having thoughts....
Nevermind I see in that listing it’s a soap. What’s confusing to me is when I see something that looks like a soap but you can see 3 mounting screws and I thought those are the hum canceling

Ordered my first Sadowsky this week. Can’t wait to join the club.

I had it routed to my local FedEx office so I could pick it up first thing this morning. I arrived only to find that the store was “temporarily closed” due to a covid scare, and corporate told me that my bass is stuck there and unable to be picked up until they reopen Saturday.

I’m beside myself, but I suppose the extra wait will make the unboxing all the more worth it!
