Club Sadowsky!!!

Great job. You just got to love that Sadowsky tone. You are like a kid in a candy shop!

Thanks! That's a great way to put it! That bass is so easy to play.. like taking candy from a.. :D ;) :D

Nice playing and bass tone. The sound quality of your band playing outdoors is surprisingly good. Everything comes through and it sounds clean and full.

Thank you! Since all we've really been able to do is small-scale outdoor stuff we've had a chance to dial it in a little bit. Low volume helps tighten it up too. I think?

@gustobassman you may be top gig getter right now....? Glad to see you working, and love your posts. Keep 'em coming!

New (to me) Bass Day! Just arrived, one of the last MIJ MetroExpresses, mid-2020 build. First impressions are super positive. This beauty is mint, and plays fabulous right out of the box. I'm amazed at the build quality. Just need to change out the (new, SS) strings for Blue Label nickels and I'll be good to go. Makes a great companion to my NYC Modern 5-24, and will give me a broader palette of tones to work with in the studio.

Congrats! Love my mine, simply can’t believe it how great these are, used it on 2 albums already (but sadly still not a single live gig yet..). Enjoy oh and by the way I’ll take those stock SS strings off your hands for $ if you pm me...

Todd, Always loved that 5-24. Such a clean looking bass with the MOP fret markers. Pleasure to meet you when you picked it up!

Likewise JR! That was such a fun and memorable day, meeting you and the crew. I hope to visit again, when that's possible. I've got another NYC build in mind...to be continued....;)

Just FYI the guy from quick guards told me to just take it off and trace it with a mechanical pencil and just mail him the piece of paper and mine came out perfect, just another option

Just in case there's any confusion about the process for ordering a new pickguard, we just updated the info on our website: https://www.sadowsky.com/pickguards/

Basically, Pickguard Planet is asking that you either make a tracing of your pickguard that you physically send in (digital images/scans/photos can become distorted) or send in the actual pickguard, so that they can confirm which template to use. Follow the link above for full info. Also, I created a PDF that you can print out and fill in to send in with your pickguard or drawing.

Hopefully this helps. Please email me with any issues, complaints, or praise so that we can help to streamline this process. I'm at: [email protected]
