I was at the Buddy Guy concert here in Champaign, IL this past Saturday (KILLER SHOW!!!!!!) and he had Lonnie Brooks' son Ronnie Baker Brooks opening up for him.

The bass player (Carlton Armstrong) was playing a trans blue 24F-5/Modern thru a dual 410 Eden rig and it sounded amazing. I'm bringin' mine to my next blues band gig.

SIGHTING!

The bass player (Carlton Armstrong) was playing a trans blue 24F-5/Modern thru a dual 410 Eden rig and it sounded amazing. I'm bringin' mine to my next blues band gig.

Vic, I back up a couple of local blues players and use a 24F-5 thru a smaller Eden rig (Wt400, 210xst + 112xlt) and it sounds fabulous. I boost the bass almost to max and roll treble off to approx 20%, blend the pick ups heavy to the neck side. Even the older, long time players seem to like it.

FWIW I think Buttercup is an inappropriate name for any bass, let alone a Sadowsky. I really don't think you need Roger's input to confirm that!
