Club Sadowsky!!!

An alternative to the Sadowsky Portabag AA31 Electric Bass Case

Except for the astronomical shipping cost! I've looked at those and would buy one if you could actually get them for the advertised price.

Quick question:

I have my first Sadowsky with a recessed jack. Should there be a nut on the outside?

Note: I temporarily removed the two screws to tighten the jack - it was loose and rotating.

No - the threads are on the inside of the cup. You’ll see what I mean in the image.

Haha. The feel I get is that if the seed is in there then the outcome could be expensive.
Also, other comments come from those who have already owned an NYC.
Perhaps you just have to try one to know . . .

The 12 month wait to get what I would want is helping to calm my desires. Now if something interesting pops up on the In-Stock page, I may not be able to control myself.

I'm likely still in the honeymoon phase, but I'm still thrilled with the tone and playability of my WL-4.de. I have Dunlop stainless flats on it and I'm loving the tones. Killer, all around. Essentially switching between bridge and neck equal and neck full on. That's getting close enough to a P bass sound, that I'm happy. Then I have the mid boost set to give a little more mid and enhance the "Precision" tone. I swapped out the tuners for US Hipshots and added a d-tuner, added Dunlop straplocks and a bell cover for the neck pickup. Yeah, I'm going to have to get a NYC. It's inevitable.
