Club Sadowsky!!!

I just did the green scotchbrite pad trick on my Verdine 5 neck and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the replies to my post everyone. Glad I avoided the steel wool, lol.

On another note I just put flats back on my black/greenburst Modern over the weekend... Heavy blend towards the front pickup, cut the VTC all the way, boost bass 20% & treble 10%. Killer thick and wide reggae tone but still cuts through like a knife. This bass sounds awesome.

Lovely colour! Never have seen like this before.

Lovely colour! Never have seen like this before.

I custom ordered direct from the shop when the Satin series was still being produced. We called it "Sage Green Metallic with Narrow Band Blackburst".

I was (and still am) very fond of the Deluxe Satin series. I wanted something like this below but with the Sage Green Metallic as the base color. Roger and crew were so kind to do that for me.

Question on Will Lee EQ Boost: So, I have a Sadowsky NYC Satin Jazz. I love it and don’t plan to get a different bass. I would like to experiment with the Will Lee EQ setting though via a parametric eq. I know the boost can be either at 500hz or 800hz and the Q can be either 1 or 1.7, but approximately how many db is the boost by default? What I’ve read about the factory setup makes it seem that the boost is set to max by default and the overall gain is trimmed so that the overall volume is not increased by the mid boost. Anyone know about how many db the boost is?

Yes, I know this one, very like it, there is one for sale on bassdirect (if not sold), but sage green with blackburst is a unique choice, congrat.

Hello guys, here's the second tune of the big band recording from the last session, composer and arranger Peter Szendofi as well. It was a bigger challenge for me however got slower tempo, but the extra part at the end required extra concentration too.... :D

Dang- very nice again! Please keep sharing!

Still freaking amazing. Love it. I just wish the video editors showed more of that handsome bass player.

Wow, really well done! The solid, tight, growl of that bass was the right voice for that dense mix.

Peter (boss) is the editor also, in this case not the bass is the main point ....
Sure understand that ... but I noticed the production included a quick clip of you touching your nose while not playing, LOL? Regardless, terrific production quality, performance, arrangement, and song! I grew up playing trombone in jazz bands so I "get" this kind of music a lot.

Just spent the last week getting acquainted with my new 2021 LTD Metro Modern 24. Wow. I’ve owned 3 metros in the past and this thing smokes them. I’m not a jazz bass guy so I wanted the Modern for the tonal difference. Flash forward to my first few church gigs and it’s awesome. The first bass I’ve ever owned that came through the livestream crystal clear and huge. I’m sold on the Warwick quality but the same great sadowsky sound and playability!
