Club Sadowsky!!!

Hello guys, here's the second tune of the big band recording from the last session, composer and arranger Peter Szendofi as well. It was a bigger challenge for me however got slower tempo, but the extra part at the end required extra concentration too.... :D

I was a pro bass trombone player in my past life and I used to live for those kinds of charts (reminiscent of Bob Mintzer). Very cool and nice playing (bones and bass!).

Hi,
Can anyone direct me to where I can buy Sadowsky single coils? I'd like to try a set out, but I can't find them on the Sadowsky or Warwick sites. Thanks.

I am currently evaluating all the most current pickup designs (as per my specifications). Once I listen and approve them, the path will be paved for retail packaging and sales. Please be patient.

Roger

I’ll tie this together - Ron Blair, pictured in this video was the early period Heartbreaker bassist, left the band, and came back later for the last years of the band’s career until Petty passed on. Not a Sadowsky player, and certainly not a Sadowsky in the video.

The late Howie Epstein came on board after Blair and worked with the Heartbreakers until his untimely death. He did play a Sadowsky.

Yikes, what's with that Mickey Mouse bass rig?! Was his real backline in the shop?

(just kidding)

Setup for yesterday’s festival gig. “String Section” side of the stage and full view. Pioneer Days festival in Canyonville, Oregon. First gig with my DIY cabinet mounted bass hanger and Shure GLX-D wireless…both worked perfectly.

Cute stage! I love wooden stages, perfect sounding, nice resonance... unfortunately so rare nowadays... :(
