How do you like the Overwater? My next two basses are going to be an Overwater and a Sadowsky. I’m trying to figure out what exactly I want in them, but I have at least a year.

How do you like the Overwater? My next two basses are going to be an Overwater and a Sadowsky. I’m trying to figure out what exactly I want in them, but I have at least a year.
Super-P has a 3-way toggle as well.
So far, normal PJ and reverse P + ‘70s J are my two favourite combinations.

Strange, I just double-checked and mine has 3. Did you change it to 2 very recently, did the prototype(s) have 2 or did mine end up having 3 by accident?

I was wrong.... remembered things wrong! It happens. Gonna go back and delete/edit my posts. The Super P is three position. Also, my fave setting is reverse p/70's coil.
It's probably buried in here somewhere but who has the Sadowsky humbucker magnet's evolution nailed down? In general, I think they were EMGs in the 90s then switched to a Sadowsky logoed HB of the same size in the 00s before morphing into the current narrower version in the 10s. Not sure who all were making them for Roger or what the differences may have been but interested to know more detail.
I think the current (narrow) ones, and perhaps the ones before that (but not the EMG, of course) were made by Seymour Duncan for Roger. Totally could be wrong about that, though!
I'd be interested to now the timing and flavor changes amongst them. If it can be known.

What kind of tapewound strings are those? Brand and gauges? Did you have to modify the nut slots? Been thinking of putting some on my fretless NYC and would love to hear your opinion of them! Thanks!

I am using DR Black Beauties Strings (45-125) on this one. I did not have to modify anything. I hope this helps!
