Are you supposed to actually SOAK your fretboard in oil? I do it more like a thin film.

Just wipe off any excess. If you let it sit long enough, some of it will actually soak into the wood and you can add more.Are you supposed to actually SOAK your fretboard in oil? I do it more like a thin film.
