Club Sadowsky!!!

Ok so I was looking at their site the other day and I noticed that it doesn't show a UV 5 in
the NYC section but it does show a UV 4 in the NYC section. Do they make a UV 5 in NYC
or not?

*BTW sorry if this has been brought up before* :/

They don't do "Blocks and Bindings" on NYCs anymore because it hs become too expensive. But you can get all the other UV features (body size, PU spacing...) on the NYCs.

One of the features of the UV models (both NYC and Metros) is the full size body and I don't remember ever seeing a NYC 5-string with a full size body.

I might be mistaken, but neither I recall seeing a 5 string with the smaller fingerboard radius. I'm sure any of the 5-string players here can correct me.

Well I was very intrigued by the raves that the newer Fenders are getting so in a moment of weekness I bought one, a P5. Got the bass and was overall impressed with the workmanship, though not a Sadowsky, still very nice.

Used it at practice yesterday and after the first tune I switched back to my Sadowsky. There's just no comparision for how it manages to sit in the mix, yet cut through at the same time.

Soo the Fender is going back and I think a Metro PJ5 will be the next bass for me, unless a killer NYC 5 pops up.

Sadowsky's are awesome!

Yeah, the classic "now I get it" case, tho you already knew anyway.

I have a particularly great USA Fender 5 (USA P Deluxe V), and as notable as it is, my Sadowsky basses still rise above in a mix.

May i have a number?
Here is mine - the NYC
