The pots on the MX are nice, decent tension, but it seems like the ones they use on the MLs are very loose, lack tension. Perhaps they can set you up with some of the ones they use on the MX lines?Hi guys. Anyone have any issues with Sadowsky preamp pots or Sadowsky Germany service in General?
I just received my new Sadowsky mid boost preamp which I installed in my Fender jazz ultra. It sounds amazing and the controls feel really great. A nice premium feel.
I bought the preamp after being so impressed with my new Metroline Hybrid P/J.
The thing is, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around is inconsistency.
While the new Hybrid P/J is amazing the pots to be completly frank suck.
The pots feel and responds like a cheap import. The treble/bass stack is all loosey goosey, pulls up and down and when you turn treble the bass is also coming for the ride. While the new preamp feels and works great. A nice solid premium feel.
A lot of folks who I have spoken to have always raved about the service and say Sadowsky will take care of it don't worry but the email I got back was basically thank you for your kind words and sending a video but we can't see an issue and probably a user error.. Not looking for a free lunch here.
After feeling a bit dismissed I had to reach out again and ask for the part numbers to confirm the correct pot to buy in a brand new premium not cheap bass. The brand was built on fixing poor build quality after all right?
I doubt it. Who knows. It was cool getting a msg back from Nicolas the CEO of Sadowsky-Warwick directly basically telling me to kick rocks though. Experienced the same bcz I have both MX and ML, but in the long run, the loose pots became not as slippery.Hi guys. Anyone have any issues with Sadowsky preamp pots or Sadowsky Germany service in General?

There is an outline comparison somewhere on TB that I've seen, showing the proportions, but it's going to vary depending on which Jazz bass you are referencing. For example, my '90 Jazz Plus might be slightly smaller body than my Sadowsky MX Hybrid PJ.Hi everyone, just simple question -
What’s the easiest way to tell from a photo if a Sadowsky has a Full Size or a Dinky body?
Are there any specific visual cues or proportions I should look for to spot the difference quickly?
Thanks!
It's not easy, but I look at the horns. The downsized body has skinnier horns than the traditional J body.Hi everyone, just simple question -

Sherwood all day and then add one of the sadowsky style shorty pickguards in mots.I am considering to order a Modern style Metro Express 6-string. I've decided to go with a green color but I'm deciding between Sherwood or Sage Green, which both look great. Here are the samples side-by-side. I'm just wondering about the consensus here, whether I should go with the darker or lighter green.

Here is a better pic of Sherwood. My local-ish dealer got this bass in a few weeks ago. I should have jumped on it when I had the chance (it’s already sold).I am considering to order a Modern style Metro Express 6-string.
