Club Sadowsky!!!

I was drooling over that PJ on ebay Fran, great score!

In regards to the 1 piece body, I always thought Roger didnt offer 1 piece bodies. Theres a FAQ on the Sadowsky site where Roger says he doesnt use them cause they can be prone to "cupping".

Either way thats one sweet Sadowsky, enjoy it!

thanks! I had already read that on the FAQs, but I'm sure that since Roger built it, the wood was carefully selected.

There is a one piece strat on the In Stock page (sold) and I think that this is the second Sadowsky bass that I see with a one piece body, being the other one a P also.
This is a photo I've found of the other one, that it's for sale here, hard to say because of the burst, but I can't see a seam anywhere:

and the front:

By the way, their serial numbers put them almost on the same built dates, only 52 numbers apart so maybe Roger got a nice blank back then for those one piece bodies.

Hey Fran,
What a great score!
I also noticed this baby on EBay. Since I'm a little low on cash right now I didn't consider it :D

The fretless is funcken-tastic! each and every note sings out clearly with such a sweet muah. Heavenly neck & feel. You can't find better "professional instrument" than this. The P p/u is also huge sounding.
I'm almost GAS free now, almost.

The PJ setup is one of the things I knew I was going to miss the most, when I saw this baby on the bay I knew it had to be mine, my name was written all over her :D

Yep.

Roger doesn't build a lot of them, but he certainly has built a few. One of which I almost bought, and I'm absolutely positive careful wood selection was part of the process.

Oh, and here's a pic I took of Tom Hamilton From Aerosmith July 2nd when I dropped off his New PJ4.

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

He's now Touring with 5 Sadowsky's, and using them every night. He switched between the New PJ4, and his old 5-24 for the entire show.

I've seen Aerosmith a bunch of time's, and they just get better everytime! And the Light show was awesome.

That's a very nice PJ, but it needs a tort guard.

Seeing that one I can't wait to have mine with me. :hyper:
