Club Sadowsky!!!

Cute daughter - hope she recovers well.
VERY cute PJ. Dibs...on the PJ when ready to part with it!

Thanks everyone!

I wouldn't hold your breath on the PJ though. It won't be replaced by the new build, but rather nicely complimented by it. :D

BTW, as some people here know, it also converts to a HC jazz (has dual rout and two pickguards, as well as an extra J pickup with quick connects), so I can always switch things up.

Now that's just not right. Rub it in. STILL, dibs....:D

Well about 3 1/2 years I walked into the Amp Shop/ Bass exchange out here in Sherman Oaks, Ca. I was just looking for a new bass to play at Church and picked up a Sadowsky NYC 5/24. And fell in LOVE with it. But because I know I have no self control I don't carry Credit Cards when I go into music stores. I went home and came right back. Not even 2 hours later and some GUY was buying it. I was crushed:bawl: So I bought another bass. I was never content it was just short of the sound that I heard. Well 6 months later and newly married I walked in there it was a Metro 5/24. I wasted no time getting this one. And I have the sound I am looking for now. I get nothing but compliments on it. My brother who plays in the Army band just got a Metro too for his away from the Uniform gigs and our sons are now turned on to Sadowskys. Nothing feels or sounds like this basses. Now I am saving for a NYC. I just wanted to share the love. These Metro basses are super and I can't wait for that NYC

Peace

James

Two very lovely basses. I came thisclose to buying that 5 when it was originally posted on the site. Luckily for you, I was still recovering from my last Sadowsky purchase at the time! I'm not normally a huge fan of quilted maple, but that bass takes the cake. Absolutely beautiful top and a stunning fingerboard to match. Congratulations! I still have regrets... :crying:
