That is just such a stupid, scary, amazing, good looking bass. That's one of those 'how can this even happen' basses.
Amazing, and I'm one who thinks a J bass without a pickguard and a fancy top is somehow against the will of god.

What the heck... a new picture of the 'orange bomber'. I continue to be totally, completely satisfied with this bass, and the wonderful Blue Label Sadowsky stainless steels that I use with it.

+2 - I'm not normally a fan of Buckeye burl, but that top is amazing. Kind of a shame about the plate and guard, though.

+2 - I'm not normally a fan of Buckeye burl, but that top is amazing. Kind of a shame about the plate and guard, though.
+1 That clear guard and plate just doesn't work with that top IMO. Of course, many would think it is a shame to paint a beautiful piece of ash orange... so pure personal preference there.
