Hey guys. I got a decent clip from last nights gig that I thought I would share. I cannot express how amazing this Sadowsky is! Let me know your thoughts.

I looked at that picture without reading the text first, and thought 'what the....'I though Phil Lesh was playing a Sadowsky now or something

Made a few minor changes to my NYC. I changed the knobs from the vintage style to hte standard Sadowsky knobs that come on most of them. I also changed it from 2 volume to 1 volume and 1 balance pot. All set up with a set of Blue Labels and playing great.
You can see the vintage style knobs sitting on the body with the new ones installed in this pic. If anyone is looking for a set of vintage knobs, I have them for sale in the classifieds.

! This is my second round with a Sadowsky... It didn't work out the first time but I believe this one's a keeper! She has her first rehearsal tomorrow and hittin the stage next Saturday, can't wait
BTW - really diggin this beast paired with the LMII & AE112's stacked or with a lone cab. Enjoy the weekend! Can I please get in! This is my second round with a Sadowsky... All right back in the club. Just picked this NYC up. My first NYC 5er. Had a really old NYC 4 at one time and a metro 5er, but this one really had me GASSy. It is a weight reduce alder, flamed maple board and hum canceling pickups. And it so needs a tort guard, anybody have a tort they want to trade for a white?
So any thoughts on the tonal characteristics of this one. I have had plenty of ash/maple combos, and alder rosewood combos, but this may be my first alder/maple combo. Also wondering if I should go with nickels or steels (I have a set of Black label Sado's or I have some Dunlop nickels). I usually run SS on alder/ rosewood combos for a little extra zing and usually nickels on maple boards for a little less zing.

SWEET bass! I love the color. Enjoy it (or sell it to me - that would be fine too)
JC
. I was going to order an AC LG5 in this color. I love it, but the pickguard does not do it justice, IMO.
