Club Sadowsky!!!

News? I am ordering my Will Lee today or tomorrow ... still trying to decide between Candy Apple Red or transparent red :)

And now for something completely different... I couldn't help but comment on this, but with a unique suggestion. Forget about "either" / "or". How about both?

Here's a pic of my 50th Anniversary Fender MIA Jazz Deluxe. It has the discontinued "Crimsonburst" finish, which is solid candle apple red metallic on the outside edge of the ash body and transparent crimson on the inside of the burst. It's subtle and different. Aged white pearloid PG completes the look. Fender also did a blue version the same (for Jazz and Precision basses).

Have a look:

I think your Will Lee might look cool in this finish, if they'll do it for you.

That is nice!

I like that 50th Anniversay Jazz! Very classy!

I am going with the CAR - since I am doing alder/morado, and I really want to get that '60's vibe. Matching headstock as well. Pearloid pickguard.

Only issue is that I missed Kevin today, and he's not back until Tuesday, so I am not ordering until then. Just gives me a few more days to agonize over the color :)

HI

U getting one, Vic? Id like one myself

Rob
Yep, except I'm having it outfitted with SC's... managed to get another Metro 5 under 9 pounds, so I had to move on it. :) I had a secret deposit down on the first one of these that came in under or right at 9 pounds. :ninja:

I'm not sure, but I think this may be the very first one sold. :) There's an RV5-24 due in soon, but I don't think any other MV5-24's are currently due in any time soon.

Here's a pic... he didn't even get a chance to post it on the web site. :D

Huh...who was it, just the other day, told me I had too many of basses the same flavor.

It ain't comin' to me.

:hiding:
LOL! Well, it is a 24 fret, which does really change a lot, and, I did sell the only other J5/24 I had to partially cover this, and, there's another 24 fret 5 string bass I'm seriously eye-ballin' for thinning as well, so I'm not quite as nutty as I seem. :)

careful there Vic, you get a 24 fret bass and next thing you do is swapping that mighty low B string for a wimpy high C. :D
