One due in July and one around January 2011, the latter is actually a bass! A 4 string of course.

Regarding SC, I have a Nordstrand NJ4 set on my Ash/Morado NYC which I like a lot. I was wondering how different the Sadowsky SC are as I hear you guys praise on and on about them...
I had NJ5 in my MV5 as well as the original Sadowsky SCs.
The Nordstrands have more lows and are a bit darker (perfect for a 100% pick player I'd say)
The Sadowsky SC are more articulate and respond a bit better to dynamics.
I am back to th original Sadowsky SCs. But I am keeping the Nordies, just in case![]()
Cool, thanks. I might try the Sad SC on my MV4 instead of the HC (although I want to keep at least one bass 100% hum free).
By all menas try them!!!
They are absolutely great in an ash/maple bass!
Warning! Once you put those SC's in, you'll have a bit of trouble going back to HC's.Cool, thanks. I might try the Sad SC on my MV4 instead of the HC (although I want to keep at least one bass 100% hum free).
LOL!!!Thanks for your objective/unbiased advice Vic!![]()
Look inside the control cavity. If the pickup leads are green and red, they are humcancelling pickups.

This one is still tormenting me. I love 24 fretters, have a surf green amp already, and would like a P/J tooo.
If it had a birdseye fretboard I would have jumped already.
Question:
How can you see if you have HC's or SC's ?
I have a 2nd hand Metro, probably they're HC's but somebody could just have changed them in the way to me...
How do I sign up for this...Metro MV4 (serial # M698) bought from the Bass Gallery in Camden, London
Awesome!!!
