Club Sadowsky!!!

careful there Vic, you get a 24 fret bass and next thing you do is swapping that mighty low B string for a wimpy high C. :D
Well, first of all, with a Sadowsky, of course you know that'll never happen unless I get a hold of one of those uber-rare Japan prototypes. Aside from that, though, I've tried the 6 string thing MANY times, and I just can't get comfy on it, so I've officially written them off. Every time I hear someone like Adam Nitti play one, I want to have that ability really bad, but the bottom line is, I'll never have the time to put that kind of practice in, so I just have to stick with what I do well enough. :)

Nah, all you'd have to do is switch from BEADG to EADGC. I think that's what Fran was talkin' about: once you go noodlin' around up on those high frets you won't be able to climb back down. Kinda like that kitty cat in a tree. :p

E-C??? ICK!!!!! :spit: I NEED my low B. :)

I've decided that, when the bass gets here, I'm not even gonna' open the case. Screw it. I'm just gonna' take it to the gig tonight, open the case for the first time right before the first set, plug it in, and play. I'm not even gonna' tune it. Hey, it's a Sadowsky, right? ;) :D

Oh, and Tom B., no jokes about folks not being able to tell if I'm playing a bass that's tuned or not anyway! :spit: :D

happy happy joy joy!

Ok, initial crappy cell phone pics...

Nice straight neck and body grain... the back of the body is particularly distinctive!

Hey Vic,

Yep, your welcome! I set it up low for you! (Though I know your gonna lower it even more..)

Robert
Actually, no! You got it perfect. The only thing I did was add just a very tiny touch more relief. :)

Thanks. I wondered if you might pick this one up. :)

What'd you think of the bass? Be honest, even if you didn't dig it!
