Please excuse the crappy phone cam pix, but the fraternal twins arrived here @work today! Thanks to Roger, Kevin, and the crew for making me a very happy man. I probably won't get to plug them in until tomorrow, but the acoustic tone on each is absolutely marvelous: "Red" is strung with flats and sings beautifully; "Whitey" (blue label strings) has a ferocious resonant growl.
I'm not sure how I'll photograph Whitey, even with my other camera. To paraphrase Nigel Tufnel: "It's like, how much more white could this be? and the answer is none. None more white."
Red: alder, mint guard, Brazilian board, vintage tint
Whitey: alder, pearl white over white white, ebony board, matching HS. Mini toggle: series/single coil/parallel.
