Nope. Thankfully for my poor bank account, I think I'm covered in the Sadowsky camp right now. You will remain the king of the hill on fancy Sadowsky J basses.Vic,
Have you started your new build with blocks and a Roasted FB yet?

#5693 is gonna be here tomorrow. Ash/Maple Vintage 5 string with Figured maple top finished in 59Burst w/tort PG, Vintage tinted BE Maple board with Ebony Blocks. SC pups in the 60s position and Reverse pan. 8.5 lbs built by Rob Lopinzi. Shipped with HSC. I am thrilled. Kevin said it would be 8 months because he didnt have a body blank in stock and be cause over 1/2 way through the build I decided I wanted blocks but it has been a little under 7 1/2 months. The Sadowsky crew delivers again. I will prob be too busy playing it to give a detailed desc. of my first impression but I will try to give a brief report tomorrow night. Ive bribed my wife to stay home all day so she is here when the Fed Ex guy arrives.

but, yeah, I'd call in sick. "Ummm, I've got Sadowskyitis. Nope can't come in today."![]()
You mean Hugh McDonald? On Letterman tonight Bon Jovi's bass player was playing a Sadowsky P. 5er (straight up P.) -alder/rw - burst. Not much good visual of it. Just some more late night Sadowsky magic!

You mean Hugh McDonald?![]()
Yup, that was Hugh alright, laying it down on his stunning Sadowsky P-5.![]()
Sorry all, I'm late on this one! I saw that there were some recent photos of headstocks with signatures, so I thought I'd post mine.
They are on the back of the headstock, and around the perimeter because I ran out of room! Check it out~
You got it- Roger Sadowsky, Will Lee, John Patittucci, Oscar Cartaya (J Lo), Michael Rhodes, Marcus Miller,
Plus the guys in the shop at the time like Chris Swope, Norio Imaii, Frank, Caleb, Scott, Simon and yours truly
There were so many people in and out of the shop, I toyed with the idea of having people sign on the front, but I didn't want to loose the clean image.
Those were the days!!!!
