I LOVE that song, so my expectations were high. You guys sounded GREAT -- a super tribute to that tune!
+1 Nice job... great fat tone that is still nice and clear and articulate. Really puts a pillow under the band. Dig it.

Oh my god. The fretboard alone has one of the most beautiful woods I have ever seen. What is it?
Thanks Fran! I do too, the Sadowsky can be pretty bright and growly...I always run it now without the bright switch on.They sound great, congrats. I like the second a little better.

Now if I only had the VTC installed on my bass, I could round out the tone even more, its an older Metro.
Great question. That track sounds pretty much like mine. How come I couldn't get my 5 string Sadowsky's to sound like that?
VERY nice!!Ok. I just have to say that i love my Metro MS-5! I've had it for an year now, and it have become my #1 bass! I've had many basses, but none of them play or sound this good! Some weeks ago our school had a little project with audiovisual students from another school, and we recorded live video of song "new york state of mind"... I just got the video and DAMN does my sadowsky sound great on that one! You can see that video here:
Thats just pure sadowsky sound thru DI box, nothing else! I love it!
Is it just me, or does the term "roasted maple" sound SO amazing?

So, I just saw that the Will Lee model is vailable in 5 string now. Can someone give me a run down on the Will Lee custom preamp? I read it has a mid control. Is is a true mid control or some kind of a "Sadowsky" version of mid control? really interested to know.
Thanks.

Hey..wait a sec.......if you look closely at the pic, there is a little switch in the same spot as the switch from the Will Lee model.........

. . .Is the WL pre gonna be available in non-WL basses????
Hey guys, I've been looking to take the plunge into the Sadowsky world for a while and recently saw this listing on Ebay:

Does this seem like a good deal in your collective experience? Your thoughts are much appreciated!
