I did that and he responded fairly quickly and then never got back after I responded
I wanted to ask you for an opinion: I ordered a passive tt4 with alder body and maple fretboard .. I decided to combine it with 70s pickups ... is it a good choice for these characteristics? I thought maybe I should have combined an ash body .. what do you think? thank you so much!

Really liking the stock Sandberg SS strings too... just wish they were easier to get ahold of in the UK.
I've swapped out the stock strap buttons for some oversized ones which do a much better job.
The push/pull pot for the volume has developed a crackle when turned in passive mode. I used contact cleaner on the pots and made sure nothing was loose but the problem still persisted. Sandberg were nice enough to send me out a new pot free of charge so will need to install that at some point.

Just picked up a Sandberg Basic that came with a 2tek bridge, Glockenklang preamp and a Q-tuner Q2 neodymium pickup. Love the instrument thus far (literally only have a few minutes playing time on her as I literally just got her).
Does anyone here know how Sandberg serial numbers work? Serial on mine is 22510. Thank you !

Pretty sure i have seen Sandberg strings on Thomann, or rockinger or even eBay, unfortunately added cost now for us in the UK

Thomann and DV247 sell them but it costs £8 just for shipping.
NICE!!! Thanks for posting. My VM-4, which is NEVER going anywhere, that I thought it was a 2006. But... #3768 (hand stamped, and naturally Relic'd by being PLAYED), dates Her as a 2008.
That’s a little harsh - it’s not a single handed luthier process, but it is a small operation which provides as close to hand crafted as you can whilst producing decent numbers - they have a critical mass they can make to a high quality and will continue that - when you see what happens at the factory you understand that - it’s not just parts in a bin bundled together
