I have a bit of a twin to one of yours
It was all tort when I got it, but I monkey'd pickguards and control plates to make it look like an old Musicman Sabre
not sure what my 2 areCool, you have the same fingerboard too? Mine is violet wood (king wood, I think similar to rosewood).
I hope you get good seats and get done good pics to share .Such a beautiful bass!!

Hopefully she will make it to the US soon.

I enjoyed the black beauties 45-125 on mineFYI , I finally ditched those stock Sandberg strings on my Sanberg TM-5 Ida . I remembered that I had a set of TI Rounds that I purchased from a TB Member last year for my Carvin SB5000 that I sold before the strings arrived from England to me in the US.
Anyway, these TI Rounds feel great, have nice growl and sweet mids and good clarity. The B stings is a huge improvement over stock .
I like them. But I figured that I would since I love TI FLATS on my CV60's P.![]()
I have those on my Sire. Good strings .I enjoyed the black beauties 45-125 on mine
I have a GZR in my black and maple VS4. Sounds great.Nah then Sandbergers
Anybody tried a GZR EMG p/up in any of their basses?
Thomann is probably selling old stock. Looks like all new Nighthawks will have pau ferro fretboards. It's a fast growing, hard wearing wood, so makes good environmental and economic sense. I also think that it looks and feels great for fretless necks.Good choice! It looks like rosewood isn't available on the Sandberg Configurator VM5 Nighthawk options: CANV1-VM:BL-NH-5S-34-MF-BK-ALD-NOT-PFF-F-NOI-MHMF-BKH-CLT-2EQ-BAP-BACP-RH
Mine is the Pau Ferro as above and I love it. No Rosewood FOMO here.
Neither of those are currently in stock. One is "on request" and the other says expected delivery "several months"Hmm yeah maybe it is just old stock, but they are both California II modesl.
