Cool, you have the same fingerboard too? Mine is violet wood (king wood, I think similar to rosewood).
I hope you get good seats and get done good pics to share .
Hopefully she will make it to the US soon.

FYI , I finally ditched those stock Sandberg strings on my Sanberg TM-5 Ida . I remembered that I had a set of TI Rounds that I purchased from a TB Member last year for my Carvin SB5000 that I sold before the strings arrived from England to me in the US.
Anyway, these TI Rounds feel great, have nice growl and sweet mids and good clarity. The B stings is a huge improvement over stock .
I like them. But I figured that I would since I love TI FLATS on my CV60's P.

I tried a Sandberg VM5 for the first time over the weekend at a bass show in Liverpool, absolutely loved it! Been having a look round since and decided the nighthawk might be the one for me.
Does anyone know if the vm5 nighthawk is still available new with a rosewood fretboard? I can only find basses available with pau ferro fretboards. It's not a massive issue but visually I prefer the look of rosewood. Bizarrely on places like Thomann they have the VM4 with rosewood but then the VM5 with pau ferro

Thomann is probably selling old stock. Looks like all new Nighthawks will have pau ferro fretboards. It's a fast growing, hard wearing wood, so makes good environmental and economic sense. I also think that it looks and feels great for fretless necks.
Hmm yeah maybe it is just old stock, but they are both California II modesl.

Neither of those are currently in stock. One is "on request" and the other says expected delivery "several months"

Very nice demo. I really like how you gave even amounts of hearing the bass isolated and in the mix. Most demos on the web are isolated, which has value, but I feel like in a mix with other instruments may be even more important. Well done.

It’s very nice, but it’s a blackburst TM5, not a VM5 Nighthawk which is what Guinness20 was asking about. I’ve got the MkI version of this.
