If it doesn’t affect playability and doesn’t bother you , I don’t see why not . Might be easy to put some filler there and patch so it won’t be seen from stage. I had gotten one like this where the wood in pretty much the same spot was glued back on , you can tell it was gouged off as well and that they must’ve done this .. hardly noticeable till you look at the spot where it’s glued closely. That being said , don’t hesitate to talk down in price if it’s bothersome to you.

It looks to be great to me! A chip right there wouldn't bother me. That's mostly covered by the arm.
That Blemish? They sell instruments that are designed to be more Blemished than that! $850 is a steal, if that is the only issue
So I did pick it up and I am so glad I did. This thing sounds glorious and plays like a dream. Still in awe.. sure the blemish bugs me slightly, but I'll take it and get it patched up down the line. Just needs a little cleanup to restore the shine, but I'm loving it.
Is it $800 otd? Or is it plus sales tax and shipping? For $800 total I'd hit that. IMO the Glock adds enough value to make up for the gash. Not that there's anything wrong with Sandberg pres (I love mine), but the Glocks are tops. (yes I know that Glockenklang is involved with Sandberg electronic circuits).

Btw, you'll know if the pre is a real Glockenklang by its redish colored components.

Yea, it was $850 total from a local marketplace seller. Dude was cool.. has his own music talkshow YouTube and podcast channel.

I’m considering picking up a TM5 with the Delanos. Has anyone swapped the dual coil MC FE pickup for the quad coil MC FE/M2? My main work is in theater pits where I need to eliminate as much noise/hum as possible, so I’m considering the swap so that when the bridge is switched to single coil mode, it’s still humbucking.
Should work, right? I suppose I could also wire a three position toggle in place of the stock switch to go between series/parallel/single coil, too.
Just curious if this has been done by anyone in the group. Thanks!

So going to try my luck at patching the small blemish. Will basically duplicate that patch video using the loctite 480 to do the drop fill and grind. One thing though is in regards to putting a smooth mirror finish during the sand/buffing. Would it make sense to use the loctite 480 to drop fill the main chip then use some of the thin clear super glue to seal that in like a lacquer finish so what I'm sanding and buffing is only the clear super glue?

I'd just use the black Loctite only. Simpler and no less durable.
Give us a review of the Florence please. In the videos it sounds great, but haven’t seen much talk about it here on TB.
