Basicly, yes. The drummers of that band share the bass drum, they call it siamese drum, but the rest is full kit.

Kylesa is an awesome American metal band with two drummers that both play full time. It's thunderous.

That was pretty cool I don't know if I could take a steady diet of it but I think they pulled that off very well.
In my main alternative rock project I use a lot of octave up whammy shifts and some simple octave above what I'm playing power chords to fill out long sustained notes and such.
In a new project I'm doing I need to layer really densely for some "epic" endings and being able to stack octaves/5ths/etc really helps out.
I use my pitchfactor a lot actually but those are the most noticeable uses

That's cool I see all these really weird petals and most of them are pretty expensive. I guess I will have to broaden my musical horizons that's one of the benefits of being part of this community.
So, anyone else not playing stoner/doom/sludge/metal with these things? I'm really hoping to be able to get a nice fat punchy clean tone from it as well.

Oh you will for sure I won't be using the boost at all and I collect NOS vintage tubes so I may replace the JJ's with some nice Telefunkens or some Amperex Bugle Boy 12au7's.
And I'm back in! Order my MSpre today on my lunch break. Sooooo could have used that money for Christmas and what not, but I couldn't let the sale slip by. Plus I get a bonus at work soon and it will cover the cost, so it's like I never dipped into my budget at all 
I saw a Semi-Famous MeatSmoke owner that I know (Andrew, Against Me!) he has two but may be stepping off of one. I told him to hit me up if/when.

Congrats sir I was like you couldn't pass if up at $700.00 I really wants it at $524.00 I had to have it period.
DOOOOO It! The Pre is just a band aid fix for the real thing. Those heads sound so massive and huge live. I was blown away the first time I heard one cranked up to deaf.
I'm not, although I wouldn't be against it. But right now I play fast melodic punk stuff, and it cuts through very nice with a P bass. I keep my gain at noon. It's starts getttin a little dirty at that point. So you might wanna be in the 10;30 area. But it does get a nice warm clean sound. I like to add an overdrive (OSD) in front of it. It adds some highs and some grit. Then, when I switch the boost on with that , it has a great distortion sound. Especially with the boost/gate on the demon king. I know I said it before, but I really feel like fuzzrocious before the MS pre were meant to be. Ive tried the GS,RT,Helio,OSD,DK before it and they all sound amazing.
The boost on the MS pre is really something special. It makes the pedal even more worth it. Were I would usually have another form of dirt, be it fuzz or distortion, the boost now takes its place, and does a great job.
Just received my tracking number this evening. Thursday seems like a long time from now (when delivery is expected).
