my god, I'm cocky and all but at least I'm polite about it. I would have knocked that guy on his ass, after thoroughly tearing him apart on stage. In my opinion a REAL bass player would play a 4 string, a 5 string player's playing with a handicap (no offense to any 5ers out there, just how I've always felt)

Still, he was right in that your guitar player should not put new strings on just before a show.
