when I'm feeling rich I order from my friend in Boston Invalid Link Removed he's got a great aged Sumatra and his Yrgacheffes really good as are his Kenyans and Rwandans (when he get them) are superb. I haven't tried his South and Central Americans, but the guy knows his coffee.
My wife and I have been drinking mass quantities of the Starbucks' Arabian Mocha Sanani, but I'm eagerly watching this thread for suggestions of the "good stuff".
And +1 to buying whole bean and grinding seconds before you brew - it's a noticeable difference.
Of course it's all a matter of taste, but I've never appreciated African coffees.
In a way though you have since coffee originated in Africa!

not to me... about the only time I pass on a coffee run is when it's to Starbucks. I'd rather drink Sanka
At home I just buy/make Link Removed (standard red bag & Maxwell House if I can't get it) and if out, it's usually Dunkin Donuts, 7-11 or Wawa


Was it Douwe Egberts? From what I've seen, it seems to be a dominant brand in the Netherlands and Belgium.
