I've been a member of coffeegeek for a couple of years. Lots of good info there. For those who want to take a more scientific approach to things, especially espresso-related topics there is home-barista.com as well.

I like all kinds of coffee. It is all good, except for 1) instant; and 2) Yuban.

Even Chock Full o' Nuts has its place in the coffee pantheon.

But the first cup of coffee I ever had was at age 10. It came out of this bag:

my current favorite is Torrefazione Italia Palermo Blend, and my current super cheap favorite is cafe bustelo. although i don't drink coffee everyday anymore, we tear it up on the weekends; we recently got a 10 cup bialetti, with our 6 cup ready in wait.

I love a good cup of coffee, but very sparingly. Certain blends just DO NOT mix with my intestines very well. Results can be explosive.

One thing I love about the South more than anything else is that it is possible to sit around all weekend drinking coffee and never feeling jumpy, hyper, or wired.
