My wife is into it. I'm going to ask another bass player buddy of mine and a guitarist (don't hold it against him, he's really a good guy!).

And whatever happened to Colorado GTG part II? I think we started planning something and it just fell over?

Tommy

Dude, it doesn't matter who goes... as long as they have fun, right? Like you said... these guys cook, so it's gonna be a sweet show!

Yeah, I think it just fell apart. We've definitely got to get something going again. Maybe we can find a venue in Denver this time. If anyone has any thoughts...

Sweet! My other bass player buddy paid for his ticket, now I'm going to start hassling the others that I haven't heard back from.

Tommy

Lettuce tomorrow night! Woot!

EDIT: We're going to lightrail it... the D Line has a stop at 25th & Welton, just a block or so from Cervantes. We're going to meet at the I-25/Broadway lightrail station just before 7:00pm. I'll PM you my number just in case!

If anyone else is (still) interested, it's gonna be a jam...

Just thought I'd let you guys know. I'll be there! Let me know if you want to go, maybe we can organize something! :)

If anyone wants to check them out, Archive.org has quite a few live recordings, my personal fav the House of Blues - 7.25.02 show (includes a cover of "Do That Stuff" by Parliament!). Their studio albums are awesome, but the live stuff is where it's really at. :bassist:

Good time last night! I need to get some of the pics you took 5sg, cause we didn't get any (cell batteries were toast). Good to see you again and meet the other guys. I think I'm ready for Colorado GTG part II now!

Tommy

Yeah, good to see you again for sure! We've DEFINITELY got to get another TB GTG going, too. We didn't get to really talk gear at all!

Those guys TORE it DOWN, huh? Despite a few technical issues, I thought it was an awesome show. They didn't all turn out, but I got at least a few good pics! I'll look through and see what I've got! :)

Yeah, the whole show was pretty much backlit, kinda tough to capture with a cell phone.

Any ideas about where we could hold a GTG? I have a place that I could check on (not sure if they'd be interested, but I could give it a shot), but it wouldn't be nearly as big a space as we had last time. Maybe if we just start trying to find a venue and date we can make this thing happen. I even have a couple of pretty cool new toys to show off!
