US: West Colorado Club

I'm moving to Centennial next week. Does that qualify for membership? I'm relocating for work and currently have no band. Definitely looking forward to seeing some of your bands!

Pick a number! Here's the list. I'll come back and edit it in a week or so. :hiding:

Fairly new member here. I will take a number please. I'll take #128- My zip code is 80128.

I'd like to make very plain that the following is a completely noncommercial project. It is a way to get people to get out to jams in the Denver area. Jams die from inattention and poor attendance. Jams are a great way to meet people. I currently attend 3 jams on a regular basis. Wednesdays at the Rusty Bucket, Thursdays at The Pub on Colfax, and alt Mondays at the Morrison Holiday Bar. Hosts for these jams include Rob Fiorino, Bab Gannon on bass for that one, Rich Reno (Bob on bass or Bill Shannon (yes, cousin of Tommy), Erik Boa, and Bad Brad and the Fat Cats (with Curtis Hawkins on bass). There is backline equipment provided at all the jams mentioned.

Anyway, here is my Google+ community to both promote jams and just plain help people find them. Google+ offers great ways to share photos and videos. Here is the link to the community.

Here is a link to a google calendar that I've put together. Please use the calendar part of the community to add other venues. You can subscribe to the calendar very easily and never a jam if you want.

all these new people and no pics, sheesh.

sadder note: just saw an fb post that premier will be closing up by the end of the month. :( check their page for more info.

Even sadder is that the reason is that Dan seems to have a terminal illness. Seriously bummed. I'm going to try to stop by tomorrow (actually later today). Life has caught up and it's been way too long since I've been in.

First Marco from the Fox and now this. It's been a rough week.

I only went into Premier a couple of times but it was awesome every time. And Dan was always great! Helped me figure out my pedal board, let me play his Sandman bass. I'm really sad to hear he's got a terminal illness. My heart and prayers go out to him and his family and I hope he feels the the same love and support he's given to the bass community in Colorado.
