Colorsound Bass Fuzz NPD!

Just got this a few days ago!

have just been jamming heavy slow riff ever since it sounds pretty massive even into my home recording setup which hasnt got any cab.

now its time to redo the board to fit it in! not really sure how but ill do it!

I have the SUF Rhinosaur. Great pedal. So much low end. I don’t see to many on boards though, or up for sale. How does it compare to the Colorsound?

Do the three sound identical to you?

I’ve had a couple of the old wide cases Bass Fuzzes as well as the current thin case one, but not at the same time. I feel like the wide case one was a lot more distinct, like super fat and synthy and I couldn’t get the same sound out of the thinner case one. I could just be imagining it though.

Funnily enough I’ve got a bit of a Colorsound collection now and I’ve got a 70s Supa Tonebender that reminds me of what I liked about the wide case one.

I no longer own the SUF or the thin case versions. From what I remember what you describe is similar to my experience, but the difference is subtle at best. The SUF is very much like the wide case with a bit more volume available.

The original Rhinosaur was a copy of the Colorsound with an added cap to prevent popping and more volume.
The Rhinosaur is back again with an added mids control
