I'll be in Columbus that weekend and may stop in (currently living in Lexington KY). I'm a drummer turned bassist though, and only have mediocre stuff compared to you guys (Washburn T24, Jag, MB115, EHX Big Muff Pi, the end). I might just show up, feel awkward, and look at all of the fun toys. But hey, I can always bring food! haha

Presuming the date does not change, I'll bring my Hamer Cruisebass 5 2TEK ...

and I'll bring the other Monster too (the beverage).

The 5-string, acquired this year in a deal just too good to pass up, is everything I hoped it would be.

But I am not very enthusiastic about having a B-string in my way -- I play mostly old (ahem, middle-aged ) music that doesn't need it.

Not likely, I know, but if anyone has a Hamer 2TEK 4-string to swap -- any finish, any fretboard -- consider that a done deal! It would probably become my main player right away.

Anyone bringing a 4-string with a jazz neck who might want to consider a trade, please let me know that also, as I realize I am unlikely to find a Cruise bass so might be tempted.

The only thing I can think of is either another church, which I'm clueless about, or rent a place unless Auzzie's found somewhere. He's been looking as well.

There will be. Right now the current location is not available on May 15th but we are still trying to get a proper venue on that date.
