Im sure he has it covered himself. ;)

I had a crazy dream last night. I was at the GTG, but I had to leave to go get lunch. But I took a detour, and it turned into this crazy adventure through mountains and construction sites.

I never made it back though.. :atoz:

I always have dreams like that, where I'm trying to get somewhere to do something and there are just tons of obstacles and I never make it. I wonder if that means something.....

Hi, everybody-I'm 82Daion's twin brother. I can probably make this thing, and I don't want to miss the unveiling of his Skjold. :D

I've got a G&L L-2500, a GK 1001RB, and a MusicMan Audiophile HD210 cab-I'll probably bring it all, since it's a pretty compact rig.

Hope to see all of you there!

I had one of the HD210's, but ended up selling it and an HD212 due to weight. Kudos to you for gigging it!

This could get awkward, and fast. What if Pete gives the wrong twin the bass? :D

What is this "gigging" of which you speak? :D

They do weigh a ton. I have mine on a furniture dolly, which helps a lot when I need to move it anywhere.

We'll be pretty easy to tell apart. 82D's hair is about five times longer than mine right now.

Plus, I can make your ears bleed from the Power of Suck™ if you put a bass in my hands. Chris plays a whole lot better than I.

I'm interested in hearing the Cutlass II-it's not every day that you see one of those.

It's modified -- Bartolini pickups. And a Hipshot D-Tuner. I've played it almost exclusively for many years. And I stay away from music stores pretty much. So I'll really be looking forward to trying out some "normal" basses!

Anybody happen to have an Ibanez ATK 300 or 305? I think those sound really fantastic on the recordings I have heard, and I'd love to try one out. I have never been a fan of Ibanez, otherwise, and the sound still won me over.

I also wonder what everyone will have in the way of Fenders and Fender-inspired high enders (especially American 2008 P and J, Lull, Kinal, Sadowsky, Dingwall Super-J -- others??)

I'll have my Valenti J5. It's got EMG 40J pickups and an 18v Aguilar preamp. I'd stick it up against a Sadowsky Metro or a Lull any day. I paralleled it with an M5-24 and it smoked it, IMO at least. Even the owner of the Sadowsky liked mine better.
